WuChi by Maks was launched in 2006 from our kitchen table as a result of Amaka Olateju’s love, frustration and passion to help treat her daughter’s eczema prone skin when she was a baby. She really believed she could make a difference, and she did.
Using the knowledge handed down by her African heritage of using herbs to produce healing remedies, Amaka set out creating lotions and potions and the WuChi by Maks range of skincare products was born.
Amaka wanted to create something luxurious, ethical and packed with nourishing ingredients that are good for the skin. The heavenly aromas from a heady mix of essential oils and active plant extracts will make sure that your bathing ritual is a therapeutic and rewarding experience.
